Introduction
In Week 2, I went on Frame VR and experimented with assets and tools I have discovered.
Asset Examples
There are many examples of assets I have brought in to show what FrameVR is like.
Models
Library
One thing I experienced with Frame VR is choosing Standard, Near-Eastern, Modern, Futuristic and/or Haloween models from Frame VR’s model library in which I added a Jack-O-Lantern 2 model which is a Haloween model.
Sketchfab
Another thing I experienced with Frame VR is adding models from Sketchfab where I must log in to my Sketchfab account before going on my frame from Frame VR to be able to use any model from Sketchfab I have downloaded. Any Sketchfab model I use can be added to the Model Inventory. This screenshot shows a Donkey Kong model I added from Sketchfab.
Media
Images
I added images to my frame which was another thing I experienced with Frame VR. Images can be those that are downloaded on PCs or from Phone Camera Libraries. There are also 3D photos that are 3D images, but I preferred to use 2D images. This screenshot shows a downloaded image I brought into FrameVR, showing an image of Princess Daisy used for Mario Super Sluggers.
Videos
I also added a video that I have downloaded at its best quality from YouTube. Videos can not only be like this video, but also can be screen recorded from smart devices, PCs and Laptops. This was another thing I experienced, but there are also 3D videos that are 3D versions of videos in which I preferred to use 2D images. This screenshot shows a downloaded YouTune video of The Transformers G1 Season 2 Theme which someone made an extended version on it.
Tools
There are tools I have experienced on using, in which are shown in screenshots I have took for them.
I can change the position, rotation and scale axis of any asset I have used in FrameVR so I can place them anywhere.
I also have options to make assets lock positions, snap to floor, change to their original sizes, make private to zone, spin or make them downloadable.
For videos, I can activate positional audio, loop and Autoplay and set Audio Range for them, depending if people want to hear video audios close to them or far, far away.
I also experienced clicking on the plus button to add any image or video or any media type objects and also clicking the bin icon if I don’t need any of them.
Conclusion
FrameVR is a fun site where I played and experimented with stock assets using tools as I can invite anyone to see my frames in FrameVR and see how they react. I also realise FrameVR is automatically saved.
